The Girl Behind The Camera
I have always had a real passion for photography and started evening classes at Edinburgh College in 2013, exploring black and white film as well as digital photography.
This naturally led on to studying full-time for an HNC (Higher National Certificate) in photography at Fife College in 2015 and the following year I graduated with an HND (Higher National Diploma). I thoroughly enjoyed being a student of Fife College it was certainly challenging but worth it all. I worked with some brilliant models and make-up artists some of whom I still work with. I never thought I'd laugh or smile as much as I did during some of the photo-shoots and there I certainly found my vocation. I take pride in all my work and feel extremely privileged to be able to explore the beauty of ordinary, everyday things and people through my lens.
I am extremely proud of what I have achieved so far and am very excited to see where the rest of this journey is going and what more I can and will achieve. I am in my element when doing a photo-shoot and I can see a smile or laugh to capture those precious moments. Nothing is more valuable than building trust and making you feel completely at ease. On that note, I'm also a lifeguard and swimming teacher, so you will be in very safe hands.
I am always looking for new opportunities and am ready for the challenge. I hope you enjoy my photographs and get the same feeling of being in the exact moment just as I did when creating and capturing them.
